I’d like to tell you why I know I can properly inspect your home. Experience. I’ve lived in Tallahassee and worked in the construction industry almost my entire life other than three years in the Marine Corps. I started at a young age hanging drywall with my father and brother before joining, and picked right back up as a carpenter’s apprentice framing homes after receiving an Honorable discharge. From there I got into commercial metal stud framing, becoming foreman on two hospital additions until hiring on as a superintendent for a General Contractor building luxury custom homes. I’ve always felt driven to work in and around the trades, and particularly residential homes. So much so that I eventually became a State Certified General Contractor myself, and began my own business remodeling homes, building additions and doing repairs. But now that I’m a little older and hopefully a little wiser too, I’ve decided to back away a bit from the stressful portion of managing and coordinating multiple trades and employees, and focus my many years of experience more on what I can enjoy. I see Home Inspections as the natural and final progression to my construction career, and would be honored if you trust me to inspect your home.
